wtf can I do w/this ?

obviously proprietary....
Vegas ?
can I open it w/SF 8.0 ?

spark will open it on the mac.  i think nuendo and soundforge 8 can on the pc

.w64 files are a sony format that allows you to get around the wav file size limit.
Vegas and Soundforge will operate with them, as well as CDWave.
You can render a single file set in W64, downsample and bit-depth reduce to another file, track and split in CDWave while saving your cue sheet.  Then CDWave can split the W64 at the same points using the saved cue sheet generating 'alternate' wav files that can be burned to DVD-A.
