Ah the n00b questions
-I bought the Busman PMD 660.
Do I need any other power for it
other than 4 aa bateries?
-I will be buying the akg 391's x-mas day, with cables.
-I found these shockmounts:
http://www.fullcompass.com/product/304073.html
-Swivel Bar:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/286149-REG/AKG_KM235_1_KM235_1_Stereo_Microphone_Bar.html
-I know I need a stand.
Any comments on what kind/where to go?
-Do I need anything else?
Sorry about all the questions. I just want to have everything ready to go.

clamps
search our archival section, and the microphone forum, for clamps.
extensive info there, in both sections.
Thanks moke.

Gear bag - I, and many others, like the Lowepro Nova series. But, there are a ton of options ranging from inexpensive fishing tackle bags to high end pro bags.
A traveling case for the mics (if yours didn't come with one). Many people use Pelican cases for this, but, as always, there are more creative solutions.

got windscreens? memory cards for the 660?

A couple of bungee cords for bungeeing your stand to a seat at a show.

Gaff tape (would avoid duct)

Plastic ties help out in a pinch and always carry extra batteries.

Thanks for all the quick responses fellas.
I am making a list and checking it twice ;)

A leatherman multitask knife is a good idea especially if inflatable objects come flying at the taping section. Then you can play Jack The Ripper and slash the balls and all the wookies will back off.

Yes! And get several pairs. I have a tendency to loose/misplace them at shows (more than likely due to taking too much of my forgetting medication).

Can't forget the lighter..... >:D

Zip ties!

Small notepad so you can make notes... and a Mini Mag-Lite...

Ditto on the bungee cords. I almost never set up a stand on tripods at indoor shows anymore if I am in the seats. More secure, more room, people can move back and forth without kicking your stand over. It really surprises me more people don't carry them.
