Title: What do the different colors in my waveform display mean?
Post by: Roving Sign on December 26, 2007, 12:39:18 PM
What does the inner, light shade of blue indicate? Not sure if Audacity is the only program that displays like this...?

Seems like you have to drill in to about the .XXX seconds view to not have that light blue indicated...

I've wondered that, too.  I figured it was just an Audacity thing, since the same file doesn't look like that in other programs.

I too have wondered this....not just in Audacity but in other programs as well.  Anyone out there know about this?

The inner core may represent the rms avg level.
