if you have one laying around, dig it out. rockbox has implimented (although very basic) wav recording for this thing.
one drawback....you cant set levels on the fly.

edit to say that this thing also takes s/pdif digi in, as well as line in

REALLY sorry to dig this up, but I just RB'ed one of these and am wondering how to record .wav if it's really possible.

wow old post :) no answer, but if this takes digi-in, there is no need to to adjust the levels while recording if you connect it to a lets say mix-pre-d (coax out to spdif in)??

rockbox.....they have an upgrade for it that allows you to record in wav (16/44)
