Just wondering what everyone's pros and cons are for the MT 24/96?

Trying to figure out if the pros out way the cons.

MT2 is your best bet.


Just to answer:

pros: small, cheapest 24bit spdif recorder out there. reliable after final firmware update

cons: bad battery time (maybe 2 hours!), 2GB file limit with a  5 second split time (not seamless), analog inputs are not the best

the ONLY plus to the mt2 over the mt1 imo is the 2gb seemless split
if you don't record shows/sets that go over 2 hrs and/or you have 5 sec to do a manual file change between songs then the mt1 is just fine

if you have shows/sets over 2 hrs and can't do a file change (5sec) between songs then the mt2 is a life saver
