Title: new, old amp
Post by: kskreider on January 09, 2008, 09:30:49 PM
A buddy of mine just gave me an old Crown DC 300 power amp.  This thing must be a 40# solid-state beast.  Curious about throwing it into the mix and seeing what some 1967 goodness is all about.   :P

FWIW, he also dropped a pair of ADS L810 speakers on my as well.  Better than what I was running before...

Crown is a consistent top of the line amp.  Folks who are more into performance than advertising go for them in a big way.  I think you are one lucky dude.  If you do not like it, I will pay postage and handling on it to my place.  ;)

Nice!

I was in NC for the holidays visiting family and was able to get these from my grandfather.  Nothin' crazy but super fun to play with:

Pioneer SX-780 Receiver/amp
Sansui SR-838 Turntable
