Title: highest quality video compression for youtube using iMovie & Quicktime???

whatsmy best bet for compressing videos using iMovie or Quicktime for movies shot in 24P using my DVX100a????

been shootig for awhile, but have rarely posted anything on the web. Any help would be much apprciated.!

I thought I read somewhere that youtube was moving toward the h.264 compression.  You may want to take a look around the net and get the skinny on that.  If that's the case then compress using h.264.

If you want to mess around with other programs and a hex editor you can actually upload videos that are far superior to when youtube reencodes them.  You are bypassing the youtube transcoder that makes the video you upload a flash video.  You can usually upload videos <5mins that are free from blocks and encoding artifacts.
