They'll work with any Oktava caps... I had extra pads... two arethe two ends I need to make a set of actives.. the RED caps are all I had in the car to photograph. Never saw or heard of actives for MK-012s

dude! OK, there are no FETs or anything in the capsule end, right? What kind of wire is that? Do the sound as good as without the cable?
I just thought that cable would have some capacitance.

No time to run them ..yet. I used the two conductors of the silver 20ga and the shield and kept them short 5.5' to keep the capicatence down. Of course there will be some loss.. 4-6db down..? the 10db pads had 130pf cap... this should have 45pf (9pf-foot) I hope its just loss and not distortion.
