Title: Looking to rack up some Yamaha and Ward Beck stuff. Whom do I call?
Post by: richiepalooza on February 05, 2008, 01:32:48 PM
I have some PM1000's and some Ward Beck input modules that I need to get racked up. I can't seem to find anyone who does this. Whom do you use?

BTW I'm new here and I did try a search for this, but to no avail. Help!

Thanks,
Richard

I might be able to help its been a while since I worked on a pm1000 :) but they do sound nice.. I really love the pm 2000.. that thing has sweet preamps and a nice eq section. Ward beck is also not a problem it just depends on your time frame. I am a pretty busy guy and this could take a while.

IIRC, the PM2K modules are better sounding and easier to modify than the PM1K's. I had a ton (40) of the PM3K modules, but decided it was to much of a pain in the ass to modify them, so I sold the board as a whole. If you need more of the PM1K modules, I think I know where to get a bunch of them. An old friend has had one in this garage for many many years now, and I'm willing to bet that he'd part it out. You might as on GearSlutz as those guys tend to be more of the studio types. Also, I know I have seen these modules sold as rack mount pieces on eBay, so you might want to look on there for ideas.
