Title: Ever use a pre with a sbd feed?

set to line level in, no phantom, or just to the a/d?

love some of color from the pre, but curious on your opinions?

I will have my own line right out of the sbd

What preamp are you planning to use for recording from the soundboard?
Will you have control over the level of the signal output from the soundboard?

Depending on the answers above...it may or may not handle it, with or without attenuators.

I do it all the time with a (modified) DMIC-20 and have also done it with my V3.
I made some -12 db attenuator cables that knock the signal down enough to make it work.
