Title: generally speaking (csb vs at829)
Post by: kidrocklive on February 08, 2008, 06:42:16 AM
would going from csb mics to the sp-cmc1 (at829) with the SP-8 but an upgrade, downgrade or same level? I didn't really notice any difference but I just was curious from a technical standpoint.

Thanks in advance  :).

The 829s are cardiod mics..the csbs are just standard binaural mics i believe. Could be wrond.

That's right nameloc. The problem is that the two mics are not very comparable. Each would be used for a different situation.
