Title: Help with mic stand

looking for a mic stand but don't have a clue what to buy.

I'm thinking either a http://www.calumetphoto.com/item/MF6065/

or a http://www.amvona.com/?page=shop/flypage&view=1&product_id=2928


I assume the first one will be the best choice, unless there are some other resources out there for affordable stands

i have been using this one for 3 years and have no complaints. the price is good too. DYNATRAN PRO PHOTO STUDIO LIGHT STAND 806A BLK, it is made by amvona

I've been running a similiar one for a couple years myself.  No complaints.  They are availible on EBAY pretty cheap.  There are a few threads about them here.

thanks for the comments, I ended up being able to convice the girlfriend to get me the 14' one for my birthday next month.  I figured the air cushion and extra height would never be a bad thing
