Hi,

I'm new around these parts and was just wandering round and came across this post.
I recently downloaded some 24/96 flac files which I play direct from my p.c.

I hope this helps.

David.

just do a google search for "dvd-audio player".  I lost of different software choices come up.  Though, I haven't used any of them, so I'll refrain from making any recommendations.

here's one software package that will play DVD-Audio (according to their website, I haven't used it)

PowerDVD 8

both the Deluxe ($70) and the Ultra ($100) versions will play DVD-Audio.

See thread here:
http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=62076 (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=62076)

I usually extract AUDIO_TS > WAV

using dvda-author -x dvd_directory -o output_directory (use dvda-author version 08.09).
Currently it just extracts mono and stereo, multichannel will be supported before November.

Alternatively you can use this GUI tool:

which is possibly not 100% legal in all countries.
