I was testing my H2 at a Kimock concert last night. At around an hour the recording goes to static. Any ideas why this might have happened? The firmware is what came with it in box. i was taping 44.1 wav 24 bit.

P.S: I did get the show with my jukebox, glad i always bring that gettup.

Questions I'd ask to identify the problem (apologies if they seem too obvious):
- Does the recording "go to static" for a short time, or for the rest of the show?
- Does the H2 record properly or exhibit the problem now?
- Were you recording with internal mics, or external?
- What was the physical location/status of the rig when then problem showed up (any chance it was bumped, jostled)?
- Was there any likely source of RF (cell phones) around?
- Does the file have any dropout errors (see p 62 of manual)?
