Title: Ejecting CF Card from TASCAM HD-P2
Post by: SAnthony on February 18, 2008, 08:25:26 AM
Hello,

I'm trying to remove the CF card from my new Tascam HD-P2, should the button next to the slot eject it automatically (it's not)

Cheers.

Sorry guys, sorted now. Just a bit fiddly.

Glad it's sorted.  Also, strongly recommend remembering to "Unmount Media" before ejecting.  I suspect that the single file-recovery issue I encountered when I had my P2 was related to not unmounting the media, resulting in a corrupt card.

i'd previously owned the Korg MR-1000 so i was used to Un-mounting the Hard Disk. Thanks anyway.

Unmounting the media is important if the unit is powered up or at least a good idea, but when the unit is off, I really don't think it matters.
