Post by: clueless on February 24, 2008, 05:00:13 PM
Hello. I'm trying to understand everything about the Tascam HD-p2 before I use it for my shoot. Here are my basic questions. Please help me with answering them the best you can. Thanks.

How does the unit indicate a failure during recording?

What are the possible warnings that the unit might give you and what do they mean?

How do you name a project folder?

What are the options for recording?

Briefly describe what each selection is.

When docked, the HD-P2 shows up on the host computer as externally mounted FireWire hard drive. Describe how to safely disconnect the HD-P2 after transferring files off of the compact flash drive.

What may happen when the HD-P2 is disconnect improperly from the computer?

Describe the display indication that the HD-P2 is docked into the computer.
