Title: How to split MP3 thats > 2g as wav?
Post by: zowie on November 27, 2003, 09:47:41 AM
Hello - I have an MP3 that runs about 10 hours.  (it had to be in that format; such is life)

I want to split it into sets or tracks and eventually get it onto CD.  But obviously the file will be more than 2g when converted to wave format.

Any suggestions how I can do this?  Any software that will split an MP3, or split the wave in the conversion process?

Thanks

mp3trim works on files in the mp3 format, without decompressing/recompressing

just noticed that you might need the upgrade to do large files - don't know if it's a free trial or not.  This one may also work

I googled on MP3 and split and found a (legit) free demo versions of something called MP3 Splitter that works great.  Recommended.
