reducing bass using Audacity?

At least 2 ways with which I'm familiar.  If memory serves, Audacity has both an HPF and EQ function.

The HPF function allows you to specify the frequency at which you'd like to start reducing the bass, but has a fixed rolloff slope below the specified frequency.

The EQ function allows you to define the starting frequency as well as customize the slope / curve.
Milab VM-44 Links > Fostex FR-2LE or
Naiant IPA (tinybox format) > Roland R-05

there is indeed 2 options. Using the EQ function, how can I do this. still a little confused. Thanks for the reply Bri....

just checking in on this, i have some recordings i would like to reduce the bass on also...
