do they make usb to s/pdif rca plugs?

hi all,
i'm looking to be able to record out from my macbook into my microtrack II, optical instead of analog. is such a thing possible? thanks in advance!

Optical out (Mac) > Digital Format Convertor (MAudio CO2) > SPDIF input (MT2496II)

Hosa also makes a DFC (a better one in my opinion):

Post an ISO in the Yard Sale.  I'm sure someone has one you can have for cheap...
