Well it's time I retired the old mics I have (Audiotechnica omnis) I need a better pair of mics but I only have around 100 to 150 to spend can anyone put me in the right direction? and this is for a stealth rig

Nooooo!

CA-14's are $300+ mics for around $150 shipped (much less when Chris is having a sale-mine were $99).

Great customer service from Chris Church. Fair (at best) from Core Sound.

spcyrfc-I think you'd recommend the CA-14's as well if you had a chance to try them. Try to get a loaner pair.
