Boxee - Anyone tried it?
« on: June 29, 2009, 05:50:45 PM »
http://www.boxee.tv/

Just downloaded this to give it a try. Still trying to get it set up.

If you don't know what it is...basically it is a all in one multimedia player / organizer. You can link to your MP3's, Movies, TV shows, etc. and it will play them all (or at least that is their goal). It also links to all sorts of websites that serve a variety of multimedia files.

Nice full screen interface, too.

It's still in Alpha, so it has some bugs (it's frozen up on me a few times already).

I think once they get the bugs ironed out, it will be pretty cool. And it's available for Windows, Mac and Linux!
