Home made shock mounts?

So I have this home made t-bar for my SP/AT933s (http://www.taperssection.com/yabbse/index.php?board=20;action=display;threadid=12831)
and being the crafty guy I am, I'm wondering if I can make a shock mount for them too. I figure I could either make two little ones (one for each mic) or one to suspend the whole t-bar. Anyone got any good suggestions, links, resources, etc to give me some ideas?

How about rigging something made out of hollowed  foam tubes perhaps?

I'm not picturing it. Can you elaborate? What kind of foam tube - like pipe insulation?

just a hint- use nylon elastic rather than rubber bands, it will last longer.

the thing im always concerned about with that is how tight the mics are held.

id like to see something that emulates the at4010 shockmount a bit closer, with a clip to hold the mic in place

Do an advanced search for 'ghetto riggin' or 'ghetto mounts' I seem to remember a thread on this subject 6-9 mos ago.

Thanks I hadn't seen that in a while. It gave me some ideas. I just need to see what my hardware store hasto get me going. Those sure are ugly, but a little black Krylon would help a lot.

My mics are those tiny AT933s, so I'd have to do something a little different. I'll post pics if/when I have something working...
