Batteries for Nak 300

Do they still make the Eveready 206's and are these the best choice to power these mics? 

A friend said they'd bought some that didn't last very long (probably very old stock). 

Any ideas on a good source to get whatever is best?

I thought I saw a thread on battery options a while ago but can't find it in the search.

Not so much user error as user inexperience.  TS search isn't as good as Google, and it takes a little getting used to in order to use it effectively.  I'm guessing your keywords were either too specific (very few, or no, results) or too general (far too many results to wade through).  It's not always easy to find the happy medium using the TS search engine.  No worries, happy to help, and you'll get accustomed to the TS search engine eventually.  And if not, asking as you did usually yields a quick link or fresh response.
