I ended up doing something real similar to two socks. It did help with the wind, but also cut back on the high end a bit.
Mics: AT4051, AT4053, KM140, AKG C414, Beyerdynamic MEM86 guns, Nak cm300, AT853 4.7mod
Pre: V3, CA-9100
Recorders: Busman DR-680, iRivers, minidisc, jb3, and DAT

If you were doing 4 channel, you could just cut some slits in his back, pull out the stuffing and then insert the mics thru his back into the arm and leg holes. But then I suppose you'd have to mount him upright on top of your stand. Talk about wrong!

And for LD mics, you could just use the whole teddy head... but you gotta post rig pics!

Just to show I'm not quite that weird  :P , I haven't actually considered using the teddy bear's scalp for a windjammer. Not seriously anyway. It's not furry enough.  ;D
