Input problem with Edirol R-09
« on: August 15, 2010, 10:10:27 PM »
I've had an Edirol R-09 for several years now. I use it for informal, practice recordings primarily. Generally, I had to set the input between 13 and 20. Recently, it suddenly required the input to be maxed out at 30 and the recording is still soft. Note: I do not use external mics. My problem is unrelated to the input jack problems that many have reported.

Does anyone have an idea what caused this?

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I can't believe the answer was that simple. And I don't know why I didn't have enough brains to look at the back of the recorder. *sheepish grin* So glad to have full function back.

Thank you for saving a damsel in distress!
