A big thanks to everyone who weighed in on this! Nothing noticeably wrong with my capsules, but since I'm not the original owner I was interested mostly for peace of mind. Considering that most estimates for cosmetic touch ups and basic cleaning seem fairly reasonable, I am going to give this more thought and if I go through, will post my experiences.
