Levels, Unity Gain & More..
« on: October 16, 2010, 09:30:52 PM »
I have a new set up that I plan to use this week at a loud rock concert and I would like to know the basic settings for levels & unity gain on the recorder & pre-amp.

I will be using an Edirol R-09 > Ca-9100 Pre-Amp & Ca-14 Card Mics and I plan to record at 24B & 48K.

What should I have the CA-9100 set at and what is the unity gain on it? The on switch clicks on at 1:00 & stops at 11:00 (What is the HPF Switch in the battery box?)
What is the Unity of an Edirol R-09 and where should I have the levels peak?

While I am asking .... What is the Unity gain of the R-09HR?

Thanks so much in advance.

What is the HPF Switch in the battery box?

Pre: Lunatec V3
