problem with Iriver h10
« on: October 23, 2010, 02:18:14 AM »
I have an Iriver h10 which gives me this message 'system files missing. to restore the system files, connect h10 to recovery tool'.

when i connect it, i hear the sound of usb connected but I can't see this device on my computer, nor the icon on the taskbar. It charges fine, I just can't seem to format it. I have another iRiver h10 and I use the same procedure and it does the job.

any idea how to fix this?

Since the H10 is not useful as a recorder (no WAV or line in, IIRC?), you won't find many users here on TS.
