Anyone in the Boston area willing/able to repair mics?
« on: March 22, 2011, 05:02:19 AM »
I bought a pair of SP CMC 2As here a while back.

There was problems with the jack from the start so I bought some CA mics and gave the SP mics to a friend in Boston (I'm in Ireland).

He is looking for someone to repair the jack. He lives in Cambridge.

Any help would be appreciated.

This is very confusing  ???

Do you mean the original Boston in Lincolnshire - and - Cambridge (as in University of) which are not very far apart in England?

Or do you mean the ones in the USA?

The wording of your question could mean either - especially as you are in Ireland and Boston, Lincs. is much closer to you.

Pardon my geographical faux pas.

As this is a US based board I assumed most members would get it that it was Boston in the US.

Being Irish I should have allowed for European/English based members.

Actually, American members could have assumed the same as you are based in Ireland and not the US.  ;D
