DPA 4060 powering?
« on: June 23, 2011, 09:39:58 AM »
I've been offerred a DPA 4060 on a cable to a Lemo plug- i.e. nothing else.

what does it take to power the 40XX series stuff? Do they usually go straight into a radio mic beltpack?

Are they looking for they're own DPA PSU? Do they run from PIP voltage or P48...?

Thanks

DPA says 5V minimum.  Battery boxes or pres with a single 9V battery (such as a Church 9100 or a DPA MMA6000 or MPS6030) generally work well.  For 48V phantom, you need to get an adapter...
