never seen this error before.  says it's extra chunks.  does it even matter as it's the first and last tracks of the disc?

I'm guessing that it's on anything you did a fade in/out on in some other program. It probably wrote some metadata to that wave file. Extra chunks = metadata ... the wave data itself should still be fine.
Out of the game … for now?

that's what I figured as this is a well cirulated show and I haven't heard of any problems.

Somewhat off topic, but am I the only person who's never been able to make heads or tails of shntool?

Am I moron?

"e" is Extra Riff Chunk (whatever that means).  Use the "Strip" command (in place of Fix) to take care of these...

cdr    Shows properties related to CD-quality files.  A  'c'  in
the  first slot indicates that the WAVE data is not [C]D-
quality.  A 'b' in the second slot indicates that the CD-
quality  WAVE data is not cut on a sector boundary.  An
's' in the third slot indicates that the CD-quality  WAVE
data is too short to be burned.

A '-' in any of these slots indicates that the particular
property is OK or normal.  An 'x' in any of  these  slots
indicates  that the particular property does not apply to
this file, or cannot be determined.
