I agree the evidence points to the 9100.  Interestingly enough, my 9100 no longer outputs a signal and I've been meaning to send it out to Chris for a checkup.  Hope it's not a trend.

I have spoken with Chris and he suggests returning the 9100 to him. Which is what i will do. Thank you for all of your help.
