I have seen them on the interwebz never in real life. Also check out Beachtek if you are looking for something for a DSLR

I've seen them, but they seem oriented toward camcorders rather than audio-only tapers.

On the other hand, seeing one inspired me to order my Littlebox with a 1/4"-20 mounting stud for attaching my LS-10. Details here.

Thanks for the input fellow tapers.
My buddy found this at a yard sale with some other camera gear but, the person selling it had no idea what it was capable of.
I figured it was a DSLR camera preamp/phantom power box.
