I got the cooper today and it looks sweet- totally mint and the guy even sent a 4pack of 9v's and a book on stereo recording techniques. I'm pumped!!

honestly- i cant immagine why you would buy the 316 other than for the novelty that its old.  ive heard some studio stuff done with it put next to the grace 101 and the v2- i have a very very hard time telling the difference.

It's also a little big IMO never heald it so maybe I'm wrong. The only reason i considered buying it was to run off the same 12V as the 500e.

It's a cool unit. But I'd rather have a V2.

I talked to Jim Williams and emailed him and I should have them back by Oddessey fest.

They're going out tomorrow so it will be soooo sweet.
Now I just need to find something to put in front of the mod-sbm-1.
