I keep mine rolled up in a sandwich bag with a desiccant pack.  I change out the pack every few months.

I hope not to be too off topic with this question: I went on eBay, searched for Silica Gel packs and found lots of cheap offers... What should I be aware of before buying? I need a few packs for a pair of mics in their box, single mics and my recorder, separately.
Every idea is welcome!

You should be fine with ebay stuff as long as it is new and sealed.  They can be recycled too.  I used to do this by putting them in the oven at like 250 for an hour or so, but I get them from my brother now.  His company replaces a lot of harddisks and they all come with a perfectly sized packet stuffed in the bottom of the anti-static mylar bag.

If you know anyone who takes prilosec, I understand that each bottle of the OTC stuff has a desiccant pouch in it as well.
