Getting no signal when I use my AD-20
« on: April 27, 2004, 05:25:29 PM »
I am testing out my AD-20 before tonight.  Tonight I will be going SBD > AD-20 > JB3.  Right now I am using the dvd player for audio.  I am using an optical cable from the ad-20 to the JB3 and using an analog mini from the dvd to ad-20.  I am thinking this is my problem, and that it is not meant to take this cable.  So is there anything else I should check or should I just try to find some xlr cables?

The mini is actually a coax out so it sounds like your signal is not getting in.

you need rca>xlr cables and probably inline attenuators to connect a line level source like the DVD player to the AD20.
Schoeps cmc6/4v / Beyer mc950 / Line Audio CM3, OM1 / ADK A51 / Church Audio CA-14
Naiant Tinybox v2.2 / NBox(P) / Church Audio ST9200 / CA-UGLY
Sony PCM-M10 / Zoom F3 / Zoom F6
