sounds like a WAV header issue. Did you try using one of the solutions posted in the stickied thread right above your post?

WAV header fix utility (I've used this with success)

Other suggestions
http://taperssection.com/index.php/topic,111774.0.html

I opened the file up in CD Wave(in the second link), got the warnings about the header not matching the file, clicked OK a couple times, and wrote it back down to a different location. It then opened fine in Wavelab.

If you have trouble fixing it, I'll send it back to you later.

First thing I'd do is to try the file repair function built into the R09 on a copy of the file.
musical volition > vibrations > voltages > numeric values > voltages > vibrations> virtual teleportation time-machine experience
Better recording made easy - >>Improved PAS table<< | Made excellent- >>click here to for the Oddball Microphone Technique illustrated PDF booklet<< (note: Version 4 provided in individual sections rather than a single booklet)
