R07 is really light,theres not much in there

every deck has some metal in it of course. the handhelds usually have more metal in the boards and jacks themselves than the actual housing

metal is expensive!

Triple ditto. Talking is what gets me in. Was just curious about the metal, never occurred to me that of course there's metal in the board, and a lot. I love my 620s and have no plan to go more plastic, now that I know they all have metal. Thanks!

I've taken the R-07 through walkthrough detectors several times now and have not set anything off.
