I was wondering if anyone knows where I can ger a pair of "fuzzy windjammer" type windscreens that fit the ca-14's for a reasonable price? I like to shop at B and H Photo Video if that helps narrow things a bit. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I contacted windcutter and they will make CA-14 fur screens.  They just wanted some pics and measurements.  Never got around to doing.

yep. they are really responsive when it comes to making custom furs. I had them make a fur for my schoeps M/S windscreen. they had it shipped out in less than 48hrs.

I've contacted windcutter and the CA-11 screens are supposed to fit the 14's. I will be making a purchase from windcutter soon. Thanks for your replys.

I sent pictures and measurements of my CA-14's to WindCutter with my order as requested.  They also have an option for ordering windscreens for CA-14's in addition to CA-11'S on their website now.

Wow, Chris has hit the big time!  Pricey but they do look nice.  I love the furs they have for the big ass Shures (A81WS), although it may be a little bit of overkill.  ;)

Have you considered putting another foam windscreen over the built-in foam (as long as it doesn't compress the built-in screen too much)?  I've done that with AT853 mics outdoors and it works well.

This might work: https://www.audio-technica.com/en-us/at8136

I made dead rats for my CA-11s to fit over the the windscreens. I've used them a few times and they worked well. Get some fuzzy material (I may even have some here) and get out the needle and thread. You've got a month. :-)
