A/V Rack - ISO Rack Ears

There is a set of rack mounts on eBay right now for $100.  That would be more than I would want to pay, but maybe they are to your liking.

Oh, I've already got two pair of those. I am really in the market for the Nakamichi cassette and VCR rack ears.

That is going to be a very hard find. 

Might want to have them fabricated at a machine shop if you are truly interested.

Yes, but it will shift if let's say I want to move it from my storage unit to my future residence.

I moved a few months ago and needed to move my rack which now has a couple of pieces of gear that sit on shelves instead of screwed in with ears.

I went to the restaurant supply store and bought a 1000' roll of 18" plastic wrap and wrapped that sucker about 50 times after tucking bubble wrap in the empty spaces. Easiest rack move ever. When I got to my new place I just used a razor knife to take off the plastic et voila!

One of the things OP mentioned is cable management.

To truly keep things neat you'll want to make sure you have some lacing bars. Pretty sure no has mentioned that.

Most of the cables are neat as it is now. But I can go the extra mile... Grabbing some of these from Amazon!
