Topic: Dime question - can't seed

i uploaded my torrent, then downloaded the torrent file from the page. then tried to seed

"Tracker returned error: not authorized; don't hammer this tracker with multiple announcements for a torrent"

any idea what I need to do to make it work?

Sometimes it does that to me but seeds anyway. Try quitting out of your client and restarting?

Also, make sure you're not using one of the Transmission variants that don't play nicely with DIME.

i already had to switch to an older version of transmission. it just won't start seeding

Apparently they give that error on even the recommended Transmission clients now.

Switched to some horrible BiglyBT client and it works

I am using Transmission 4.0.5, and though I still get the error message, it once again seeds fine. Give it a rest and try again in a day or so.

This eeror should resolve if you nust wait 30 minutes for the torrent to announce again
