c1000 windscreens
« on: June 28, 2004, 12:24:36 PM »
Now before you all send me looking through a search I have done it and I read the entire  "need better windscreens for my c1000s" thread. There is no conclusion on what will work with the c1000. I am looking for something that is not too expensive, so I am thinking the huge shures are not going to work for me as they will be nearly 1/3 of what I paid for my mics. The DPAs mentioned in the thread seem like a great option. Do any of you know if these will fit the c1000s or are there some other options people have used.

Yeah thanks for the heads up on the DPAs. The diameter for the c1000 is ~30mm. I am looking at the Windtech 600 series which will fit the C1000 and are about 3.95 a pop. I know this will not be a permanent solution by any means but these will probably give me what I am looking for since the c1000s have some resident wind protection. Other suggestions are still welcome though.

windtech + dead rat
Governor Jim McGreevey was equally disturbed about the upcoming population increase. "New Jersey cannot support all of these wookies," he said. "For starters, we don't have nearly enough kindbud. At best, we can muster up a Q.P. of some beasties, but we've not a dime-bag more."
