Is the Normalize in Nero any different?
« on: July 27, 2004, 10:14:57 PM »
Than say the one in Cool Edit Pro 2.0?  I had some trial recording sessions that came out low so I Normalized using Nero when I burned the raw .wav files for quick listening.  My dad's computer speakers don't show any negative effects...  tia

What I like about CEP is you can normalize Left and right separate or together where as i think in Nero it does both channels the same.  Not that this sounds "better" but at least you have the option.

i'd be scared to trust a program like nero with anything but burning...i told it to normalize random mp3s one time and it fucked them all up. half had added digi/clipping noise and half didn't.

Control over it man... that's the most important thing.

Plus, not being able to hear the results before burning a cd is kinda irritating too.
Tickets are dead to me.  Except the ones I have, don't have, and lost.  Not to mention the ones you have, don't have, and lost.   And the ones that other dude has, doesn't have, and lost.  Let me know if you need some tickets, I'm happy to oblige.
