New Taper Advice
« on: October 25, 2004, 09:27:37 PM »
Hey guys. Need some advice. I do alot of audio editing using Wavelab and Soundforge but have never ventured into the actual taping stage of the game. I'm looking to start and I need some advice about what a good startup kit would be.Don't want to spend a fortune, but want quality. Also,I plan on patching into a SBD in a few weeks and need info on how to do it. Can I go straight from SBD to a laptop and record with Wavelab( and if so what do I need)....and if not, what's a good deck for that job...something not to expensive but with good sound, that I could purchase and keep as part of a recording set? Know it's a lot of info, but I am eager to learn. Thanks to all.
