With 2 mics you are not limited to xy recording..so you have more flexibility as Moke said...you can run din or nos or ortf or AB or whatever you wanted to.

MUJ, Single capsule    not familar w/ that cap (only by name) is it a single or dual cap?  If single what do you do w/it? THe M3 cap is i the M200 mic...

If you prefer ORTF over x/y, the Schoeps mtsc64g is an ORTF stereo mic.

x/y definitely has a unique sound, slightly more "distant" compared to DIN, but creates an image that does a great job of detaching from the speakers upon playback.

do you really mean mix ...as in making 2 into 1?   xy is great for turning into mono btw.

i either use a m21 or m20,which reminds me i have to contact jon.
the ecms box has a dual output(signal split into 2).anyways stealthing is much easier with one mic(stealthing in this case,means in very hard and tough taping)

that's cool so you run mono and duplicate the signal......how do you image them...xy at any specific angle?

Outputs in Mid/Side, or has an internal matrix that outputs
stereo.  might be selling mine..
