more dumb newbie question not covered under FAQ
« on: December 10, 2004, 03:57:38 PM »
Well I feel like I am giving birth to an elephant here.  I just got my sound professionals cardiod stereo mics (sp-cmc-19) and minibattery module and (sp-spsb-6) and plugged it in to line in.  I tested recording blasting my pc and even when I turn up the gain the recording is not very loud.  The meter at best only goes up halfway.  I have the thing on 44.1 and line recording.  Am I doing something wrong?  Yes its plugged in all the way.

that's not uncommon, you'll have a hard time re-creating the db levels at a concert at home via pc or home stereo.  sounds like everything is fine, so get out an tape.   :)
