g4 battery life?

hey,
i just pick up a gr power book this dec. i would like to tape with it but i'm not sure how long the battery will last and don't have time to test it out. i'll be running a m1 for back up. just thought i would post to see if i need that back up. any help would be great! :)

It depends on a LOT of things - which powerbook you got, what hardware you have enabled, whether you have the screen on, etc.  You can probably get 4+ hours out of it with optimized settings and the screen off.
