Band: Gipsy Kings
Insofar as security goes, I've taped there a few times -- with a hat. Definitely not a taper-friendly venue. I'd prefer not to be in the front row for that reason, but I don't doubt I could pull it off. (I just don't fit the taper profile.
) My concern is not really the security, it's being too close to catch the sound.
And dang-nab-it, "Dumb Ass Filter" . . . who the hell are you?
I'm getting better at catching on to the frequent name changes, but not this time.
My 2 cents: just point your mics backwards.
Your 2 cents' worth speaks volumes.
I've pretty much decided I'm going to keep my eye on eBay and Craig's List for some better (taping) seats, then sell mine. This way I won't bring attention to myself trying to get people to trade me seats. As much as I'd love to sit in the first row of this venue, I'd rather have a good recording of the show.
