Broken A20s
« on: September 07, 2005, 10:53:55 AM »
Sorry if this gas been covered already but I couldnt find anything on it.

Im wonderin if theres anywhere I can buy the sled that holds a kwon/mic
on the A20s.
It has the 6 little hangers where the elastic bands attach.
One of those hangers broke off.  It seems that they break pretty easy
cause theres a small seam on these hangers.

 Whats a brotha to do???

 Any DIY options???

The SG20 is the same sled, however it doesn't have the hangers attached.

I'd contact http://www.posthorn.com - they carry literally every Schoeps product. If they make replacement sleds, they'll have them.
Right now nothing...in the past: Schoeps CMC6, AKG 480, AKG 460, AKG 414, MBHO 603a, Neumann KM100, ADK TL>Schoeps MK4, Schoeps MK2, Schoeps MK41, AKG ck61, AKG ck62, AKG ck63, Neumann AK40, Neumann AK50, MBHO ka200>Lunatec V2, Lunatec V3, Apogee Mini-Me, Oade M148, Oade M248, Sound Devices MP2, Sonosax SXM2>Sony (mod)SBM1, Apogee AD500>D7, D8, D100, M1, R1, R4, R09, iRiver HP120, Microtrack

Thanks Nick, Ill give them a call this weekend.
Sorry if I just seem lazy but its super expensive to call to the states from here.

I was almost thinking to drill a small hole in the sled and just tie it together with a thin
piece of wire or something which ofcourse would hold it at a very slight angle but$$$...

Thanks for the lead Nick.

Andy(Dwonk) contacted Posthorn, and the sled only cost $8
What a bargain considering the price of an A20s.

+T to the both of ya
