DPA 4061's joined at the hip!

Was I stupid to let these slip by without bidding?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7355636081&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1

Did anyone here snap them up?  I'm really curious to know if they get them separated.  I scoured the place for tips on getting superglue off stuff and umm'd and ahh'd about whether to bid and lose out if they wouldn't separate.  I can't see how you couldn't slice them apart with a good sharp razor blade and great care but I didn't want to throw £130+ away on the off chance.

Still, £130 ($230) for just one of these would have been a bargain I guess.  *kicks self*

Now you're just rubbing it in! ;)

I looked at all the unglue products.  Most of them say they are for ungluing your fingers and are acetone based. Acetone will melt most plastics as well as the glue so I wasn't sure about applying it to sensitive, tiny mic. capsules and plastic coated cable only to end up with a mushy pulp.

I should have bid on them shouldn't I :(

I would've suggested very carefully using acetone.  It can be done, just gotta be precise.  I've used it with models, applying it with a toothpick & a razor blade.
